About Barney

Barney Greenbaum is the classic example of a modern-day entrepreneur who is living the American dream of owning his own business, and wants to help others do the same. He launched his business career in 1971 with $2,500 in his pocket. Since then, Barney has been involved with and operated many thriving enterprises, several starting from the ground up. These projects ranged from full service restaurants to fast food establishments, turn-around situations and national roll-outs of new products. He has also consulted for major established franchise chains and several start up companies. Currently, Barney is a Franchise Network Associate for Columbus and South East Ohio. His ultimate goal is to make Frannet a household and industry name for being the premier source for franchising advice for individuals and would-be entrepreneurs in the Ohio area. Barney graduated from Franklin University and holds a degree in business. He has been cited and recognized by numerous national and trade publications. In addition to serving on many professional boards, Barney won the SBA Outstanding Small Businessman Award. He and his wife Suzanne have raised their family and happily reside on the far east side of Columbus.
