A FranNet consultant is a local, franchise expert to advise you on franchise and business opportunities. Within our group, we have past and present franchisors, franchise executives, franchisees, regional and area developers, and other business professionals.

3. Why should I use a FranNet consultant?

A FranNet consultant is your one-stop shop for all franchise information and services. We help you by providing assorted research and information that will help you investigate different franchises to start your own business.

We can introduce you to many different franchisors, so rather than having to go from place to place to learn about specific businesses, you can learn the basics about several options all in one spot!

5. Does it cost more to work with FranNet?

FranNet services are 100 percent FREE to you. Any fees are paid by the national franchisors that are seeking candidates.

6. How will FranNet help me save money?

FranNet helps save you money in several ways: by educating you about franchising; by helping you research your business; by identifying the right structure and strategic mix of the businesses you are interested in; and by introducing you to the franchisors that fit your model. Instead of going from place to place, you can get all of this information in one place. This saves you time and money.

We’ll encourage you to thoroughly research any franchise that you are investigating, and we’ll even help you find franchise attorneys and other advisors so you can gain more information before you buy.

We believe that the more you know, the better the odds are that the choice you make will be a good one. As a result, we stress that you spend the necessary time to research before you buy. Once you’ve bought the business, it’s too late to change your mind.

7. How will FranNet help me buy a franchise?

FranNet will help you buy your business by providing a series of services to you. It’s important to remember that the decision will always be yours, so the responsibility for making a good choice rests with you. We give these seminars regularly in local communities, often in association with other interested groups such as the U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE (Service Corps. of Retired Executives), Small Business Development Centers (SBDC’s), financial institutions, lawyers and financial advisors.

These seminars give an overview of franchising with information such as: the basics of franchise regulations; what a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is; what types of franchises exist; and how much franchises cost. We also talk about how you can identify the types of franchises that best suit your personal needs and goals.

The next step is to complete your personal franchise assessment profile. This questionnaire helps us to learn about you, your goals and business personality. We use this franchise analysis to match you with the franchises that meet your investment criteria, personality, ambitions and dreams. We’re in the business of putting you in business!

8. Why can’t I just deal directly with the franchise company of my choice?

The answer is that you can. You are free to do whatever you think makes the most sense for you. Our service is one that allows you to learn about many different businesses all in one place. More importantly, most people don’t know the choices that exist in franchising, and they tend to make decisions without sufficient knowledge. We can help you understand your choices and learn how to investigate them more thoroughly and more intelligently.
